The ABA Journal is older than both pop-up toasters (invented by Charles Strite in 1919) and pre-sliced bread (first made commercially available by the Chillicothe Baking Company in 1928.) So if someone were to tell us we’re the greatest thing since sliced bread, we’d have to gently correct them.
