Paris Hilton could be sent back to jail in an emergency hearing today before the judge who originally sentenced her for violating probation.

Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ordered the hearing after prosecutors yesterday claimed Hilton got special treatment from the sheriff’s department, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Baca said Hilton’s release to her home, where she is wearing an ankle bracelet, did not involve favoritism. “The minute I was informed by the doctors about her medical condition, I realized the system was not able to respond effectively to these problems,” he told the newspaper.

They are accusing Sheriff Lee Baca of contempt of court.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County superior court said he believes Hilton will be brought to court in a sheriff’s vehicle. She was released yesterday due to an undisclosed medical condition after serving little more than three days in jail. With time off for good behavior, she had been expected to spend 23 days behind bars.

Baca said Hilton’s release to her home, where she is wearing an ankle bracelet, did not involve favoritism. “The minute I was informed by the doctors about her medical condition, I realized the system was not able to respond effectively to these problems,” he told the newspaper.
