Did iPad malfunction during Apple GC's Senate testimony?

Technology is great, except when it’s not.

That was evident Tuesday at a Senate Judiciary Hearing, when Apple general counsel Bruce Sewell quickly switched from his iPad Pro to paper notes during his testimony, phoneArena.com reports.

At the hearing, which centered on the dispute between Apple and the FBI to unlock an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino terrorists, Sewell’s device was propped in front of him. Then the audience noticed that “gentle scrolls” turned into “rapid swipes,” and a “quizzical look,” the Guardian UK reports.

Seamlessly, the Guardian notes, Sewell made a quick switch to a three-ring binder at his right, which held a paper copy of his testimony, phoneArena.com reports.
