Peeps across the land were divided. Should a pink Peep be able to marry another pink Peep? Should a blue Peep be allowed to marry a blue Peep? Several individual states had legalized same Peep marriages, but other states refused and even fought against the idea. While according to the polls, the majority of Peeps thought that all Peeps are equal and a Peep should be allowed to marry the Peep of his/her choice. Others wanted domestic partnerships or civil unions. Some Peeps thought that separate is not equal. The highest court in the land was asked to decide. In Obergefell v Hodges, the Supreme Court of the United Peeps ruled that love is love, regardless of Peep color.
