The Kelvin Natural Slush Co. started out as the brainchild of Manhattan attorneys Zack Silverman and Alex Rein. When Rein lost his job at his firm in 2009, they tell Food Republic, it seemed the right time to launch their business. In 2010, they opened a mobile food truck. They now have a Madison Square Garden location and sell their healthy slushies at Whole Foods and other national retailers.
