Yale isn't No. 1 in alternate law school rankings
Yale Law School is No. 1 in the rankings released in March by U.S. News & World Report, but the school lost its top spot in alternate rankings by Above the Law.
The ATL rankings put a priority on employment outcomes, though law school costs and alumni ratings are also factored in. According to a summary of the findings, it’s the fifth year the blog ranked law schools, “but it’s the first year schools west of the Hudson take the top spots.”
The top 10 of ATL’s top 50 are:
1) Stanford
2) University of Chicago
3) Yale
4) Duke
5) Harvard
6) University of Virginia
7) University of Pennsylvania
8) Cornell
9) Northwestern
10) Columbia
