Lilly Ledbetter, a worker who lost a pay bias case before the U.S. Supreme Court, will address the Democratic National Convention this evening.

Ledbetter’s appearance signals that the Supreme Court will be a Democratic campaign issue, reports The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times.

The Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision last year that Ledbetter could not sue because she filed her claim too late. There is not a new pay violation with each new paycheck, the court held.

A bill to override the decision has been introduced in Congress.
