Who Registered the Domain Name Kilpatricktownsend.com?
Someone has plunked down $10.69 to register the domain name www.kilpatricktownsend.com for a one-year term.
The Legal Pad blog wonders if the development is a hint of an upcoming merger announcement or the work of “an eagle-eyed, legal-blog-reading, merger-rumor-spotting domain name entrepreneur.”
Last week, Above the Law investigated a tip that Townsend and Townsend and Crew is merging with Kilpatrick Stockton. Spokespersons from both firms deemed the report a “rumor” and refused further comment. The Legal Pad blog made some calls at that time, and its sources said Townsend had indeed been in talks with Kilpatrick.
