A five-lawyer group of capital markets practitioners in Düsseldorf, Germany, is moving from White & Case’s office there to DLA Piper’s as of Aug. 1.

It is headed by partners Andreas Meyer-Landrut and Kerstin Schnabel, and also includes associates Uta Carpier, Meike Dresler-Lenz and Cornelia Wendel, reports Legal Week.

Meanwhile, Kevin Barnard, a top partner at White & Case’s office in New York, is departing for the New York office of Arnold & Porter, where he will jointly lead the firm’s financial services practice, reports the New York Law Journal in an article reprinted by New York Lawyer (reg. req.).

Barnard formerly headed the White & Case bank advisory practice and was a member of the firm’s management board.
