At the end of last week, the Employer Handbook found some posts on Glassdoor noting both the 50 most common interview questions and last year’s top 25 oddball questions.

Among the oddballs:

• “Would Mahatma Gandhi have made a good software engineer?” Asked at Deloitte.
• “Room, desk and car—which do you clean first?” Asked at Pinkberry.
• “Pepsi or Coke?” Asked at United Health Group.

So this week, we’d like to ask you: What’s the strangest question you’ve ever been asked at a job interview? Both illegal questions and perfectly legal questions are valid responses here.

Answer in the comments.

Featured answer:

Posted by Lawgril: “I just want to not go further into debt, not worry about paying next month’s bills for the office and take home minimum wage an hour. Oh, and sleep for more than 6 hours a night. What do I need? Clients who pay their bills on time, who don’t have ‘emergencies’ on weekends, and a clone. Either 2012 takes off or I am just going to go back to working retail. At least there I had a schedule.”
