Were suspicious fires at law firm and prosecutor's office related?
Authorities are investigating fires they say are suspicious that occurred within hours at a New Jersey law firm and prosecutor’s office late Tuesday and early Wednesday.
Because it appears that there may be a connection between the blaze at the Vineland firm of Helmer, Conley & Kasselman and the flames spotted a few hours later at the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office in Bridgeton, authorities are coordinating their probes, according to NBC 40 and the Star-Ledger.
Both fires were initially called in as burglary alarm alerts.
The Helmer firm has 25 lawyers on its attorney roster and handles criminal defense, family law and other consumer matters, as well as business law and litigation.
