Law Firms
Warner Norcross opens in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and is looking for more office space there
Last year, a Kalamazoo, Mich., law firm dissolved when two name partners decided to join Warner Norcross & Judd.
Now the 230-attorney, Grand Rapids-based business firm is adding more lawyers from Miller Canfield and is looking for additional space in Kalamazoo, its eighth office in Michigan, MLive.com reports.
The article says litigator Jay Yelton, who served as chief of the electronic discovery and records management team at Miller Canfield, is leading a nine-lawyer group to Warner Norcross.
The Kalamazoo office is headed by litigator John N. Cooper II, who left Cooper, Martin & Kennedy for Warner Norcross last fall along with corporate partner Ian R. Kennedy.
A Warner Norcross press release provides further details.
