Updated: At some BigLaw firms, you can play pool and table tennis, exercise on Pelotons, order coffee from a barista and catch a nap in a designated room.

Law firms offering unusual amenities include Brown Rudnick, Blank Rome, Mayer Brown and Perkins Coie, Law.com reports here (via Above the Law) and here.

“It’s not your father’s law firm space,” said Jon Van Gorp, chair of Mayer Brown, in an interview with Law.com.

The articles list these amenities:

  • Mayer Brown’s New York office has a 6,200-square-foot gathering area called the Hub that can be used as a lounge area, a banquet hall or an evening cocktail bar. There is a barista instead of coffee machines. A game room in the Hub offers table tennis, billiards and shuffleboard.

  • Brown Rudnick’s New York office has a yoga studio, two Peloton exercise bikes, a golf simulator, an employee lounge with an espresso machine, a washer and dryer, and a room for napping.

  • Blank Rome’s new Philadelphia office will have a two-story town hall for events, a room where napping is allowed and a state-of-the-art gym.

  • Perkins Coie’s new Arizona office has huddle rooms for small meetings, a cafe with a soda fountain and coffee bar, outside terraces for breaks and event spaces with mountain views.
