Unhappy Xmas for Gang Members in Santa Photo
Having their photo taken with Santa is creating legal problems for three young men in California.
An 18-year-old, Uriel Oliva, has been arrested and charged with violating a civil injunction not to associate with gang members, after officials spotted the Santa photo, in which he is allegedly flashing gang signs, reports the Los Angeles Times.
A probation officer spotted the photo while conducting a routine check, the newspaper writes. If convicted of the three misdemeanor counts he is facing, Oliva could get an 18-month jail sentence.
Two unnamed juveniles in the photo also face potential charges.
