Three law-firm mergers are now complete
Updated: Three law-firm mergers announced last year are now complete.
Carlton Fields and Jorden Burt have merged and are now operating as Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, according to a press release. The merged firm has more than 370 lawyers and government consultants in 10 offices.
Meanwhile, BakerHostetler has closed its merger with intellectual property law firm Woodcock Washburn, a press release says. The merged firm has nearly 900 lawyers in14 offices.
A third merger that took effect on Jan. 1 combined the law firms of Stinson Morrison Hecker and Leonard, Street and Deinard, according to a press release. The newly merged firm, Stinson Leonard Street, has more than 520 lawyers in 14 cities.
