Three Gifts for Techie Lawyers
Lawyers who want to buy themselves a tech-oriented present—or who want to drop a hint—may want to consider three ideas from a self-described attorney-computer nerd writing in a law publication.
Ron Phillips, writing in the Wisconsin Law Journal, has these three suggestions:
1) The eOffice 4.7 software package that lets you view and edit documents on your BlackBerry. You can configure your desktop so you can use the BlackBerry to access documents stored there, and you can edit in Microsoft Word and Excel.
2) The Logitech MX 1100 Mouse. This cordless laser mouse allows you to change to hyper-speed scrolling by flicking the scroll wheel, a plus when going through long documents.
3) The Flip MinoHD Video Recorder. Phillips says this video recorder is about the size of a smartphone and is a great alternative to bulky camcorders.
