Thomson Reuters opens new US legal outsourcing office
Thomson Reuters is opening a third legal outsourcing office in the United States.
The new Thomson Reuters Legal Managed Services office is located in Eagan, Minnesota, the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal reports. It is staffed with four full-time lawyers, but the number of lawyers swells to 60 when contract lawyers are counted. A press release is here.
Thomson Reuters also has U.S. offices for Legal Managed Services in New York and Dallas, and has overseas offices in London, Mumbai, Delhi and Pune, India. Its offices offer traditional legal process outsourcing work such as e-discovery and document review, as well as work in compliance solutions, regulatory change management, financial trade documentation and contract management.
Tawrin McGrew is leading the Eagan office. He tells the St. Paul Business Journal that he plans to gradually convert contract workers to permanent employees.
