Suspect Arrested for Threatening Investment Firms

Police have arrested a man suspected of mailing explosive devices to two investment firms and making threats against many more, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The devices were not connected and did not explode.

The suspect, known as “The Bishop,” has been identified as John P. Tomkins. He is a machinist at a Dubuque, Iowa, factory.
