Passengers who say they were stranded for seven hours on the A Train when New York City was hit by a blizzard last week plan to sue.

Represented by attorney Aymen Aboushi they are seeking a Metropolitan Transportation Authority policy to prevent others from undergoing the same experience, according to the New York Daily News.

The passengers were stuck in an unheated subway car without food or water, says the attorney, who presently represents seven plaintiffs and hopes to sign up more. “The MTA didn’t offer these people so much as a MetroCard,” he states.

The article doesn’t include any comment from the MTA, which didn’t return the newspaper’s phone call requesting comment.
