Some NY Law Schools Cut Night Classes Because of Declining Enrollment
There’s one area where law school applications are falling at some law schools—in part-time evening programs.
Pace Law School will be phasing out its evening program, following in the footsteps of Hofstra University’s law school, which cut its part-time program last year, the National Law Journal reports in a story reprinted by the New York Lawyer. Both schools cited declining enrollments in the programs.
Pace says its part-time enrollment is suffering because employers have scaled back school subsidies for workers pursuing law degrees.
