Seyfarth Shaw opens 2 offices in Australia
Seyfarth Shaw has recruited eight partners from three different law firms to open two new offices in Australia.
The offices, which are in Sydney and Melbourne, are part of a global strategy to offer major corporate clients a one-stop shop for dealing with international labor and employment matters, Reuters reports.
The Australian (sub. req.) reports that the eight partners were recruited by Seyfarth from Arnold Bloch Leibler; Ashurst; and Herbert Smith Freehills.
The 800-attorney Chicago-based firm opened an office in Shanghai in April and in London about two years ago. It also has offices in eight other U.S. cities.
