See the video: BigLaw firm associate sings and raps stay-at-home hero song
At work, Hogan Lovells senior associate Russell Hedman leads and negotiates complex M&A and investment transactions. Outside the office, he plays in a Denver band called the Rocket Surgeons.
Now, Hedman has put his musical talent to use in a new, humorous video called “Stay at Home Hero (Sanitized Version),” report Above the Law and Law360.
“It’s time to work together, completely separately,” Hedman sings a bit too passionately, adorned in a blond wig. “It’s time to make a difference, by watching Tiger King. It’s time to see old friends from far away on Zoom. You can finally be a hero just by sitting in your room!”
He also appears as different characters, rapping and playing several instruments.
“I usually complain that I don’t have enough time alone to write music,” Hedman told Above the Law. “I guess the universe heard me.”
