Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, a Minneapolis-based law firm, has announced plans to close its 30-lawyer office in Washington, D.C.

“Probably 90 percent of our lawyers practice in litigation and that does not require a Washington presence,” Steven Schumeister, the firmwide managing partner, told Legal Times.

Four D.C. partners and three associates announced last week they would move their real estate practice to Arent Fox. Among those making the move is Washington, D.C., managing partner Keith Styles.
