Rice Signals She Won’t Testify in Committee Probe
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says she’s not inclined to comply with a subpoena to appear before a House committee investigating the administration’s claims that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.
Commenting during a meeting of NATO foreign ministers, Rice said she would respond to questions by mail, the Associated Press reports.
“I addressed these questions, almost the same questions, during my confirmation hearing,” she said. “This is an issue that has been answered and answered and answered.”
