Person of interest in lawyer's slaying is arrested
A person of interest being sought by authorities in the apparent slaying of a Colorado family law attorney has been arrested in Idaho.
Warren Dale Watson was arrested Friday in Caldwell on an unrelated prior warrant, KUSA reports.
The body of Claudia Miller, 66, was found in her law office on Tuesday night by a cleaning crew. Her 2012 Honda Accord was later determined to be missing from the parking lot of her office, according to Lakewood police. Although a cause of death has not been formally determined, police have been calling her slaying a murder and said there was trauma to her body.
The Denver Post also has a story.
Miller was “just fun,” Caroline M. Sada, who heads the First Judicial District Bar Association, told the newspaper on Wednesday.
“She loved to tease. She loved to laugh,” said Sada. “She was always joking around, but she was serious when she needed to be.”
