Paris Hilton Walks to Freedom
Paris Hilton has been released from jail.
Hilton was released shortly after midnight, Reuters reports. She smiled as she walked past photographers and into the arms of her mother.
A sheriff’s spokesman told the Los Angeles Times that Hilton stayed in the medical ward at the jail, and thanked guards and nurses before she left.
Reuters says Hilton spent 22 days in jail, while the Times puts the number at 23 days.
Hilton’s first interview will be tonight with CNN’s Larry King.
