NY Bar Essays Recovered
Those who took the New York bar exam using software to save and upload their essays can breathe easier.
The software company is reporting no problems recovering the essays, the New York Law Journal reports. Last week, bar examiners reported that students were having problems uploading the essays and it was trying to determine if any were lost.
John McAlary, executive director of the Board of Law Examiners, told the legal newspaper that test takers will be e-mailed when their essays are located.
“We have been advised by the software company that so far, there are no essays that appear to be lost and they are confident that no one will lose any essays,” he said.
