Nine O’Melveny Partners in NY Jump to Two Firms
Nine partners from the New York office of O’Melveny & Myers, including two practice group leaders, are jumping to two different law firms.
The departures at O’Melveny are “a sizeable blow to its corporate and transactional practices,” the Am Law Daily reports. Among the partners making the move are Gregory Ezring, the co-chair of O’Melveny’s corporate finance/capital markets practice, and Brad Okun, the head of the tax practice and the former head of O’Melveny’s New York office.
Ezring and Okun are among seven partners moving to Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, the story says. Two other partners are joining the private equity practice group at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, according to a press release.
