Expanding on earlier growth, a 20-year-old minority-owned commercial law firm based in Milwaukee is adding 10 lawyers and opening new offices in Los Angeles and Phoenix.

Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan is essentially acquiring a nine-lawyer minority firm in Los Angeles, Atkins & Evans, to open its office there, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

In Phoenix, the firm is bringing in Charles Hamilton Houston III, and establishing its new base in Houston’s office. He specializes in civil and commercial litigation.

Gonzalez Saggio, which presently has close to 100 lawyers in 11 offices nationwide, also has a presence in Chicago, Las Vegas and New York, among other cities.
