McElroy Deutsch Reportedly in Merger Talks with Pepe & Hazard
McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney and Carpenter is said to be in merger talks with a smaller Connecticut-based firm, Pepe & Hazard.
Multiple sources told the Connecticut Law Tribune about the merger talks, but the publication was unable to get anyone to confirm the report on the record.
McElroy Deutsch is the third largest law firm in New Jersey where it is based, with 16 practice areas and about 200 lawyers, the story says. Pepe & Hazard has about 50 lawyers and is known for its business, litigation and construction practice.
