Man Drove for 67 Years Without License
It had to happen, sooner or later. And, after 67 years of accident-free driving, it finally did.
Authorities in Amsterdam recently discovered, when they stopped him at a random checkpoint, that an 84-year-old Dutch man had been driving without a license ever since he was 17 years old, Reuters reports.
The unnamed man’s car also was uninsured, and had never been inspected. Reuters say he escaped detection because he never had an accident and was never pulled over by police for a moving violation.
