The newly formed Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell has made it into the AmLaw 100.

The new firm, which goes by its new name starting today, will have gross revenues of about $400 million, making it a top-100 law firm, a press release (PDF) says.

The new firm is the result of a merger between Texas-based Locke Liddell & Sapp and Lord Bissell & Brook, a national firm with Chicago headquarters. The firm’s new chair, Jerry Clements, had previously served as Locke Liddell & Sapp’s managing partner.

“With similar cultures, common philosophies, complementary strengths and relative experiences, Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell offers clients a dynamic platform to serve their needs effectively and efficiently,” she said.
