Lindsay Lohan Fails Drug Test, Judge Issues Arrest Warrant
As actress Lindsay Lohan herself reportedly admitted in a Twitter post over the weekend, she has failed a drug test while on probation in two drunken-driving cases.
A Los Angeles judge today revoked her probation and issued a warrant for her arrest, but she is expected to surrender in court in Beverly Hills on Friday, reports the New York Daily News.
“Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night,” said Lohan in another tweet. “I am working hard to overcome it.”
She also said in still another tweet that she is taking responsibility for her actions and will accept the consequences, reports the L.A. Now blog of the Los Angeles Times.
Lohan has been out of jail since early August after serving a fraction of her 90-day term for an earlier probation violation.
