Lindsay Lohan Denies Her Fingernails Contained a Message for the Judge
Actress Lindsay Lohan is denying that an obscene message on her fingernails was intended for the judge who sentenced her on Tuesday to 90 days in jail.
Lohan was sentenced to jail and rehab for missing a court hearing and skipping court-ordered alcohol education classes in two 2007 cases of driving under the influence. But now the talk “isn’t about her troubles, but about her fingernails,” the Associated Press reports.
Lohan sported manicured nails that included tiny obscene messages on each of her middle fingers, AP says. She denied that the nails were a message for the court, or anyone else for that matter. ”It had nothing to do w/court,” Lohan wrote on Twitter. ”It’s an airbrush design from a stencil.” She said the nails were part of a joke with friends, according to the Fox News 411 Entertainment Blog.
Two lawyers told the the blog that if Lohan’s nails had been a message for the court, she could be charged with contempt.
