Legal services sector gains 3,200 jobs; previous month's whopping loss is revised upward

The legal services sector gained 3,200 jobs in May after an astounding loss of jobs the previous month.
Last month, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the legal services sector lost 64,000 jobs, but that seasonally adjusted number has been revised upward in the report released Friday.
The number now stands at 66,000 legal jobs lost in April.
According to the report, the legal services sector had 1,160,300 jobs in March, 1,094,300 jobs in April and 1,097,500 jobs in May.
The current number of May jobs is down 49,900 from May 2019, when there were 1,147,400 jobs.
