The legal services industry continues to add jobs after a disastrous April in which 68,000 jobs were lost.
The legal services sector gained 5,000 jobs in November, according to seasonally adjusted numbers released Friday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The legal industry had 1,124,100 jobs in November, which is 33,000 jobs below the number of jobs in November 2019.
The November monthly increase follows gains of 5,900 jobs in October and 2,300 jobs in September, according to seasonally adjusted and revised numbers by the bureau. The October and September numbers have been revised upward from the figures released last month.
According to the revised numbers, the industry had 1,119,100 jobs in October and 1,113,200 jobs in September. Last month, the bureau reported that the industry had 1,110,900 jobs in August.
