Legal sector continues to add jobs by the thousands

The legal services industry continues to rebound.
The legal services industry added 4,700 jobs in October following a gain of 5,300 jobs in September, according to seasonally adjusted and revised numbers by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The September number was revised upward since figures were released last month.
The legal industry now has 33,000 more jobs than in October 2020. Job numbers for the legal sector had plunged in April 2020, with a loss of 68,000 jobs, according to revised numbers released in July of that year.
The industry had 1,152,600 jobs in October, 1,147,900 jobs in September and 1,142,600 jobs in August.
