LeClairRyan opens office in Chicago
LeClairRyan has arrived in the Windy City.
The firm announced the move in a Tuesday press release. LeClairRyan partner Philip Fluhr will be in charge of the new Chicago office, which according to the firm’s website, currently consists of two other lawyers. The move will be a homecoming of sorts for Fluhr, who joined LeClairRyan in 2016 after five years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. Until the opening of the Chicago office, Fluhr had been operating out of the firm’s Newark office.
“The opening of our Chicago office highlights LeClairRyan’s continued strategic focus on assisting our clients with their legal needs by attracting excellent legal talent to our energized internal network across our firm’s growing geographic reach,” CEO C. Erik Gustafson said in the press release. “Phil’s combination of legal and leadership experience makes him the ideal partner to help us further develop our client relationships and team in Chicago.”
Fluhr, for his part, said that he was excited to grow and develop the Chicago office.
The Chicago announcement comes one month after the firm opened an office in Boca Raton, Florida.
