Lawyers ‘Shake Their Groove Things’ in Charity Fundraiser
Lawyers will be rocking for to raise money for legal services for the poor at a Minneapolis charity event this evening called “Attractive Nuisance.”
Eight bands will perform, and each has to include at least one lawyer, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Last year’s performances raised $60,000.
Criminal defense lawyer Joe Tamburino explained the attraction of the event. “You see otherwise boring middle-aged white guys in ill-fitted shirts shaking their groove things,” he said.
