Lawyer’s Sex Bias Claim Against Jackson & Campbell Allowed
A Washington, D.C., judge has refused to dismiss a lawyer’s claims of sex discrimination and retaliation against her former law firm, Jackson & Campbell.
Judge Judith Bartnoff allowed the claims of Elisa Eisenberg to go forward but expressed some doubt about whether she will ultimately succeed, Legal Times reports.
Eisenberg claims in her suit that the firm refused to fire Robert Rider Jr. after he groped her at a party, creating a hostile working environment. Both were nonequity partners at the time.
