Some lawyers like to get creative with their holiday cards, in a humorous way.

California lawyers Michael Olecki and Allen Grodsky take pride in their unusual and original holiday cards.

This year, their holiday card announces a spoof reality show scheduled because of the writers’ strike, according to the Legal Pad blog.

“We apologize, but due to the writers’ strike, this holiday card has been canceled,” the card reads. “In its place, please enjoy our new reality series, Sexy/Hot Lawyers of Santa Monica.”

A client responded with a draft “script” for the new reality show.

“We think way outside the box,” Olecki told Legal Pad.

Meanwhile, Massachusetts intellectual property law firm Hamilton Brook Smith Reynold is sending out another unusual holiday card, according to Larry Bodine of the Law Firm Marketing blog. It features the likes of Marie Curie and Thomas Edison serving turkey, noting that Edison had some “unfortunate failures, including the remote control turkey baster and the electric gravy delumpifier.”
