Lawyer with Famous Political Name Sees Uptick in Blog Traffic
He’s no politician, but an Alabama lawyer is seeking an uptick in blog traffic as a result of his famous name.
J. Robert Bentley is an Oneonta, Ala., lawyer and a self-described “flaming liberal,” the Anniston Star reports. Robert J. Bentley is the Alabama governor who signed a controversial immigration law.
Bentley the lawyer says he’s getting more visitors on his blog “Bob Bentley… one day at a time” since the other Bentley became governor. The readers likely differ from those checking out another lawyer with a famous name, Justin Bieber, who has reported getting 50 to 60 Facebook friend requests each week.
Many of Bentley’s clients are indigent and a number are Hispanic, the story says. He thinks Alabama’s immigration law is “just wrong” and one of the worst things to happen to the state in years.
