Lawyer is accused of smuggling sex toy into jail
A 70-year-old Oklahoma City attorney is accused of smuggling a sex toy into jail so an inmate could perform sex acts with it as he watched.
Sheriff’s police allege that lawyer Frank Kirk smuggled the sex toy and personal lubricant into a prisoner who believed she wouldn’t have to pay legal fees if she performed the sex acts, report Fox 25, NewsOK and News Channel 4. The inmate contacted police after she learned that she was represented by the Public Defender’s office rather than Kirk, according to Sheriff John Whetsel.
Police set up a sting operation after the woman said she performed the sex acts for Kirk four times during a three-month period, according to the arrest affidavit (PDF). Investigators recorded audio of the visit on Monday and arrested Kirk after he made sexual advances toward the prisoner. Police moved in to make the arrest after the woman used the prearranged signal: the phrase “my pants are too tight,” according to Fox 25.
Kirk was charged with five misdemeanor counts of offering to engage in acts of lewdness and one felony count of possessing a cellphone in a penal institution. None of the publications was able to reach Kirk for comment.
