A former Washington, D.C., attorney general is co-chairing a new practice group at her new law firm: providing litigation support to her former colleagues in other states.

Linda Singer’s new role at Zuckerman Spaeder expands the scope of work being handled by the D.C.-based national litigation boutique, which ordinarily represents defendants, reports Legal Times in an article reprinted in New York Lawyer (reg. req.). Meanwhile, her counsel job at Zuckerman allows Singer to continue doing public work, in a law firm setting, she notes.

“The practice will assist state attorneys general and other government clients to pursue the public good by providing advice and litigation support on a wide range of issues, including complex civil litigation, consumer protection, food and drug matters, charitable trust enforcement, civil rights, insurance, antitrust, tax and other enforcement priorities.” the firm explains in a press release.
