Law Firms in Trademark Battle over ‘Employment Law Group’ Name
A law firm calling itself The Najjar Employment Law Group of Andover, Mass., has filed a declaratory judgment action that claims its name does not infringe the trademark of another law firm.
The Najjar Employment Law Group filed its complaint in Massachusetts federal court after getting a cease and desist letter from The Employment Law Group, a Washington, D.C., whistleblower law firm, the National Law Journal reports.
The D.C. law firm obtained trademark registration for its name in 2008.
