Law Firm Hosts Free Movie for Local Children and Their Families
For the fourth year in what has become a holiday tradition, a Pennsylvania law firm is hosting a free movie, along with snacks and entertainment, for children and their families.
This year, Hourigan Kluger & Quinn will screen Dolphin Tale on Saturday at The Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre, the Times Leader reports.
The movie begins at 2 p.m., but the doors open at 12:30 p.m. Pre-movie entertainment will include a juggler and a sing-along. Free popcorn and drinks also will be provided to attendees and families will also get a fleece blanket. All children 12 and under are welcome to attend, with their families, and must be accompanied by an adult. Roughly 1,000 people are expected to attend, and the venue can seat 1,800.
“Our annual holiday movie at the Kirby has become a way for us to celebrate the holidays with the community where we have lived, worked and raised our families for decades,” attorney Joe Quinn tells the newspaper. “We know a lot of people in our community are struggling in a sluggish economy, and we hope our small gesture will help bring a smile to their faces.”
