University of Cincinnati College of Law Assistant Professor Adam N. Steinman is rapping for $25,000 in prize money from tax preparation software maker TurboTax.

The former associate at Seattle’s Perkins Coie name checks 1980s rapper Vanilla Ice in his one-minute video. And a smart thing that is, since Ice Ice Baby is judging the contest.

Steinman’s lyrics include the lines: The IRS may hate me, But in the end, you know they’re gonna have to compensate me. See, I’m the head of this household, And I own the Internal Revenue Code.

A winner will be announced April 15. But Steinman may already be a winner, if rap videos can be submitted to a tenure review committee. Click on the image below to view the video.
