A judge in India has issued an arrest warrant for actor Richard Gere because of a “highly sexually erotic” kiss.
The judge from the northwest city of Jaipur said Gere’s kiss with Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty violated India’s public obscenity laws, Associated Press reports.
Such cases against celebrities are common in India, according to the story.
