A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the release of a detainee who has provided incriminating information against other men confined at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay.

U.S. District Judge Ellen S. Huvelle ordered the government to “take all necessary and appropriate diplomatic steps to facilitate the release” of Yasim Muhammed Basardah, 33, the Washington Post reports.

There was no accompanying explanation for the one-page ruling, which reportedly came after a review of classified records and a sealed court hearing.

The Post reports that Basardah, a native of Yemen, isn’t likely to be released in the near future. He is one of 13 Yemenis cleared for release, but who remain in detention because the Yemeni government has expressed concerns about returning them to the country.

Updated at 11:53 a.m. to clarify that the Yemeni government has concerns about accepting detainees cleared for release.
