Jackson Lewis Opens in N.M. & Memphis; 5th & 6th New Offices This Year
National employment boutique Jackson Lewis has opened an office in Albuquerque, N.M., acquiring four lawyers from the city’s Noeding & Jarrett in order to do so.
The office is the firm’s 37th, and the fifth new outpost it has opened so far this year, reports the New Mexico Business Journal.
But it’s certainly not the last: the firm has since opened a 38th office in Memphis, Tenn., it reports in a press release. The latest location is headed by James Mulroy II, who joins Jackson Lewis along with partner Kelly Gooch and counsel John Norris from Memphis-based Kiesewetter Wise Kaplan Prather.
In Albuquerque, the new office is headed by Danny Jarrett. George Cherpelis and James Cook will be of counsel there, and Samantha Jarrett will be an associate. All four are joining from the Noeding firm.
With a little over 500 attorneys now on its roster, it doesn’t appear that the White Plains, N.Y.-based management-side employment firm is finished with its rapid-fire national expansion. It opened at least seven offices last year, according to an earlier ABAJournal.com post.
